Day of Reflection
on the Month of the Rosary
at St. Pius X
October 7

You may have heard a little about Jubilee 2025.

When we were in Portugal for World Youth Day, Pope Francis invited us to prepare for the great Jubilee Year of 2025 – Pilgrims of Hope. The flame of that call is still in us and in response, our parish, together with the Archdiocese, is preparing for this celebration.

Our first event in this Year of Prayer, with the Archdiocesan Office for Evangelization, is to host the 2024 Eucharistic Rosary Congress on the Feast of the Holy Rosary, October 7th. See below to view the particulars and to sign up for all or part of the day.

The day consists of Mass, Eucharistic Adoration with guided prayer, recitation of the Rosary throughout the day, and two talks. (conferences). You may attend all or part, and we would encourage you to invite family and friends from other parishes. Please sign up as it will help us determine the resources we need.

The Morning talk explores the Rosary, a beloved practice in the Catholic faith. Discover its rich history and the spiritual virtues it represents. Learn how the Rosary has been a powerful tool for prayer, meditation, and growing closer to God. Join us to celebrate and deepen your understanding of this treasured tradition.

In the Evening Talk – “Jubilee, Pilgrims of Hope” we will delve into the history and significance of the Jubilee Year, its spiritual implications, and how it serves as a beacon of hope for Christians. We will discuss how this special time encourages renewal, reflection, and a deeper connection with our faith.

Continue to visit our website, app, and bulletin for the most up to date information regarding the Year of Prayer and the Jubilee Year and their events. Should you have any questions, contact us at the Parish Office.
