As part of the Knights ‘Faith in Action’ program Our Knights of Columbus Council 9021 is sponsoring our 2020 Free Throw Championship on Friday evening January 24 at the St. Anthony Parish Gymnasium in Northvale at 6PM (with a weather date of January 26 at 4PM). All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate. Superb refreshments will be provided.
The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district, and state competitions. Last year we had a State contest winner from Old Tappan!
Last year more than 120,000 sharpshooters participated in over 3,600 local competitions. All contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event. This is recited at St. Anthony’s in Northvale at 7PM.
If you can’t make the 3rd Wednesday, the Rosary is recited every Wednesday.

- We will be supporting St. Cecilia Food Pantry at 55 West Demarest Ave in Englewood, Open Mon-Thu, 9 to 12, Jim P spoke w/ Christine (201-568-1465)
- Donations can include boxed goods (e.g., pasta, cereal), canned goods and food gift cards (will also consider more local needs for food gift cards)
- We ask our membership to:
- consider buying additional food items / food gift cards for donation when doing your normal food shopping
- send email to Jim Peragine (jkp9293@aol.com) no later than TUESDAY EVENING, if you’d like to donate (please include your home address and contact telephone number)
- leave your donation in a bag by your front door on WEDNESDAY MORNING before 9 am, for pickup by Jim P (or another volunteer)
- We will try this for one week and I will send a status email at the end of the week to let you know how it went and if we will continue for a 2nd week
